Pu'uhonua Etiquette & Guidelines
Bestowing our affections
- Our community gatherings can be very loving and intimate
- they are not occasions for open sexual expression.
- Please check in with that other human,
- at least with eye contact,
before showering them with your physical affection.
-
If you are receiving unwanted attention
- Speak up!
- Get some support!
- Don't suffer in silence!
-
If anyone is behaving inconsiderately:
- Give them some loving feedback
-
If anything does not feel right:
- Find a host or Party Monitor!
-
Please help keep Pu'uhonua a true place of
refuge.
Costumes & Clothing are Optional!
- Feel free to wear outrageous costumes or nothing at all.
- Clothing is optional at Pu'uhonua except in view of the street.
- Our natural state is not a come-on:
- Please treat unclothed people with
extra consideration!
- You might want to bring or borrow a Sarong - they're very
handy!.
Children are very welcome
- They require your supervision!
- Especially around the pool and spa!
People who won't be drinking
We need to know who is not yet 21 years old
and get their agreement to not drink alcohol
at our party.
We support anyone's choice to not indulge;
Touch says he'll refrain from drinking in solidarity!
Parking
-
Please park on Verda and walk down the driveway.
- It's OK to drop stuff down at the house first.
