Pu'uhonua Etiquette & Guidelines

Bohemian Diversity

We are a delightfully diverse crowd including straight people, gay people, bi people, unlabeled people, philosophical people, pagans, atheists, nudists, artists, computer geeks, etc.

We wear outrageous costumes, comfortable street clothes and anything in between. Clothing is optional at Pu'uhonua except where in view of the street. You might want to bring or borrow a Sarong!

Bestowing our affections

We are a very loving community!
Please check in with that delightful other person,
at least with eye contact,
before showering them with your physical affection.
If you are receiving unwanted attention

  • speak up!
  • get support if you need it, but
  • don't suffer in silence!
Please do not be overtly sexual in our public spaces;
remember that our family includes all ages and diverse guests.

Matter Out Of Place

Please help us reduce and eliminate MOOP!
Please clean up after yourself and others during the party.

Closing time

Please support us in gently closing down the party by our ending time of 1pm Sunday. Help in cleaning up will be graciously accepted, or you might want to go to the beach!
